A Peek into Sofia Vergara’s Fabulous B’day Celebrations

Modern Family actor, Sofia Vergara recently ushered in her 50^th birthday and it was indeed a stylish affair. She shared the festivities on her Insta handle, which consisted of a pre-birthday, poolside luncheon with family and friends.

Looking beautiful as ever in a strapless summer dress, paired with oversized black shades, Sofia also shared the party with her beloved Bubbles, a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix. This lucky Pomchi who turned nine years old had her own adorable blue cake. And the Colombian-American actor also flaunted a custom champagne bottle featuring the message, ‘50 & still fabulous’ to mark the occasion.

Bubbles, who is known to be devoted to Sofia’s husband Joe Manganiello, also celebrated her 9th birthday. 

An intimate picnic with her loved ones on a bright and sunny afternoon is what followed next. Sofia shared images of beautiful bouquets and an exquisite, S-shaped floral cake (which seemed just to pretty to be cut). A doting picture with husband, actor-filmmaker Joe Manganiello, whom she got married to in Florida in 2015, gave us some major #RelationshipGoals.

Sofia donned a bright, sunshine yellow dress for her main birthday party, with close family and friends in attendance. A Louis Vuitton bag cake (overflowing with cash) seemed apt for the occasion as Sofia has established herself as one of the highest paid female actors in the industry, making it to the top spot of the Forbes list in 2020, with an impressive earning of $43 million.

Among the dinner guests were her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 30 and her look-alike niece, Claudia Vergara, 29. Known for her candour and wit, Sofia has been an inspiration for women of colour in Hollywood as well as back home in Colombia. Few know that she is a business woman, with a multifaceted empire that includes apparel, furniture collections, and fragrances. Plus, she has her own foundation too, which partnered with a non-profit Kiva.org in hopes of raising $50 million to crowdfund support for marginalised organisations and individuals impacted by COVID-19.
