Karan Johar, a prominent figure in the Hindi cinema industry, is known for consistently making headlines with his work. Recently, in a rare occurrence, the director engaged with his followers on Instagram Threads and dropped hints about his next film, which is believed to potentially star Salman Khan following the release of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”
KJo boasts an extensive history in the film industry. Taking the reins of Dharma Productions after his father Yash Johar’s passing in 2004, he has collaborated with nearly every major star in the industry, yet he has directed only a select few films.
While eagerly awaiting the release of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” his comeback project featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar has already plunged into his next endeavor. Despite stepping away from Twitter a few months ago, he has now embraced communication with users via Instagram’s newly launched Threads feature.
During a recent interaction, a fan inquired about the theme of his upcoming film. KJo’s response, “An emotional actioner,” has left everyone intrigued. While he didn’t divulge many details about the project, it has prompted questions about whether it might be the same film he proposed to Salman Khan. In April, during his appearance on “Aap Ki Adalat,” Salman Khan revealed that both Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra had approached him for movies, expressing his eagerness to collaborate with them.
Numerous sources have also indicated that Salman Khan and Karan Johar are keen on delivering an entertaining film for Eid in 2024. Going by KJo’s recent hints, it’s possible that Salman Khan could be the central figure in this emotional action film. Should this project come to fruition, it would mark the first collaboration between the director and actor in over 25 years. Salman Khan previously portrayed the character Aman in the 1998 film “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” alongside Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukerji.
