Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story from Pushpa: The Rise, while Singham Again, featuring Ajay Devgn, marks the third installment in the Singham film series.
“Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna star in Pushpa 2: The Rule, while Ajay Devgn headlines Singham Again, both slated for a box office showdown on Independence Day 2024.
The producers of Pushpa 2: The Rule made the announcement on September 11th, confirming that the much-anticipated sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021) would hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, is also set for release on the same date next year. Singham Again marks the third installment in the Singham franchise, following Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), and is the fifth film in Shetty’s Cop Universe.
It remains to be seen whether Devgn or Arjun will modify their release dates or if the box office will witness another high-profile clash, reminiscent of the Gadar 2 and OMG 2 face-off.”
