Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, renowned Bollywood stars, kindled their romance during their collaboration on Ayan Mukerji’s film “Brahmastra” and tied the knot in 2021. In November of the preceding year, their family welcomed a baby girl. Both actors openly display their affection for each other in the public eye and the media.
Recently, Alia and Ranbir opted for a break from their bustling Mumbai routines, choosing New York for quality time together. In a photograph from their excursion, Ranbir showcased a fresh haircut, donning a black jacket, while Alia sported a matching ensemble. These snapshots were shared on Instagram by a fan account called “ranbirkapooruniverse.”
On the professional front for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Alia is currently basking in the triumph of her latest romantic drama, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” directed by Karan Johar. The film also features Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan and has garnered positive reviews from both critics and the box office. Additionally, she made her Hollywood debut this year with “Heart of Stone,” alongside Gal Gadot, which premiered on an OTT platform last month.
Conversely, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar,” co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, which proved to be a lucrative venture. Currently, he is gearing up for the action thriller “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy and featuring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri. Initially slated for an August release, “Animal” has been postponed to December 1st due to pending VFX work.
Reports have circulated suggesting that Ranbir Kapoor is a strong contender for the role of cricketer Lala Amarnath in Rajkumar Hirani’s forthcoming sports drama. Aamir Khan is also under consideration for the same role. However, a final decision has yet to be made, and the director will turn his attention to this project after completing Shah Rukh Khan’s film, “Dunki.”
