Renowned actor Akhil Mishra, widely recognized for his memorable portrayal of Dubey, the librarian, in the film “3 Idiots,” has sadly passed away in Mumbai at the age of 67.
According to a report on indianexpress.com, a close friend of the actor revealed that Mishra had succumbed to injuries sustained from a fall in his kitchen. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the medical team could not save him. At the time of his passing, Mishra’s wife, the actress Suzanne Bernert, was in Hyderabad but quickly returned to Mumbai.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mishra had a significant presence in numerous television shows, including “Bhanwar” (1998), “Uttaran,” “Udaan,” “CID,” “Shrimaan Shrimati,” “Bharat Ek Khoj” (1988), “Rajani” (1985), and many others. He also made notable appearances in films such as “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi” (2003), “Well Done Abba” (2009), “Calcutta Mail” (2003), and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Don” (2006).
